What is ‘JavaScript’?
It’s a programming (or scripting) language that lets web developers implement complex and interactive features on websites, such as:
- Pop-ups
- Slide-in CTAs
- Interactive maps
- Animated graphics
- Special effects
- Secure password creation
- Check forms, etc.
JavaScript is the third level of web development technologies that includes HTML and CSS. Each element has a particular role to play in bringing a website to life and contributing to a good user experience (UX).
